Clearwater Volunteer Fire Department will host a varmint hunt, Jan 9 and 10.
Registration will be held at The Waterhole, 503 Main Street, on Jan. 9, between 6 and 7 p.m. A calcutta will begin following registration. Ten percent of calcutta funds will be donated to the fire department, while 10% of entry fees to go The Waterhole.
Cost to enter a two-person team will be $100.
Check-in will take place between 6 and 7 p.m., on Jan. 10.
Awards will go to the top three teams.
Entrants must have a fur bearer permit. All legal hunting methods will be allowed. Accepted animals include raccoons, possums...
