Worldwide candle lighting memorial service creates virtual wave of light

The Northeast Nebraska Chapter of The Compassionate Friends will hold a worldwide candle lighting service on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. The event will be held at O'Neill Methodist Church, 404 West Cedar Street in O'Neill. Anyone who has lost a child or grandchild of any age is invited to attend.

A potluck with snacks and appetizers will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the service.

To participate in the potluck, bring a snack, appetizer, or dessert to share. Drinks and table service will be provided.
