Discussion on utility payment return fees under consideration by Orchard board

Whether the Village of Orchard should create a policy regarding fees for utility payment returns will be considered during the Dec. 8 board of trustees meeting.

The topic was tabled in November.

Trustees will also consider an employee handbook and hiring a part-time maintenance employee.

During the Nov. 10 meeting, trustees approved to increase the utility superintendent's pay to $26.50 per hour. The village clerk's monthly insurance stipend was increased also....
