Nine Bobcats receive football post-season honors

Summerland football team received strong recognition in the post-season. Nine players were recognized by the D1-4 district for their play throughout the year.

Ethan Kester, Jacob Schlecht, Cash Kester, Beau Ahlers, and Austin Mendoza were named to the All-District Team. Mathias Wagner, Shayne Jenkins, Alec Kester, and Hayden Hobbs received honorable mention.

Ethan Kester topped the Bobcat stat chart, rushing for 77 yards per game. Defensively, he averaged 11.7 tackles per game.

Ahlers averaged 9.1 tackles per game and, offensively, finished third on the receiving chart with 12.9 yards per game...
