First down and second thoughts

Another disappointing close loss.

The streak now stands at 29 consecutive losses to ranked teams for Nebraska. It stretches across four coaches. It is what it is.

I’m not a fan of focusing on the past and that’s not why this game was disappointing. It was disappointing because of the environment of the game, the opportunity Nebraska had if they won, and the opportunities they had to win the game.

The night game environment was electric for the blackout. Nebraska had the opportunity to keep the season alive and become a dark horse candidate for the playoffs.
