Clearwater Library receives a facelift

Outdoor renovations at Clearwater Public Library are complete.

The entrance now sits in the center of the building, and two new windows were added.

Library Trustees President LuAnn Schindler said the project originated after an indoor upgrade proved unfeasible and a downtown revitalization study suggested updating the façade.

"We hoped to begin an expansion project indoors, with a move into the old ambulance bay; however, that project proved to be financially unfeasible," she said.
