In a sometimes tense battle, the Bobcats soundly defeated Ainsworth, 3-1, in volleyball action on Oct. 16.
Summerland cruised to a 25-14 win in set one and held off the Bulldogs, 25-23 in set two.
Ainsworth bounced back to win the third set, 25-22.
But the Bobcats refused to give up, crushing the Bobcats 25-13 in set four.
Three Bobcats finished with double-digit kills. Kanyon Allemang led the team with 15. Caydence Schumacher ended with 14 and Taylen Nilsen added a dozen.
Kenzie Sanne ended with 18 assists, and Allemang finished with 23.
