Student artwork accepted for aviation contest

The Nebraska Department of Transportation's Division of Aeronautics is urging Nebraska students to utilize their creativity in an international art contest spotlighting aviation.

The 2026 Fédération Aéronautique Internationale International Aviation Art Contest is open to all Nebraska students ages 6 to 17. The theme of this year's competition is "Fly to Save Lives", spotlighting brave aviators who come to the rescue when disaster strikes. The deadline for entries is Jan. 16.
