Defendants request, receive continuances in district court cases

Several defendants who appeared in Antelope County District Court on Sept. 24 received continuances.

Hunter E. Ashburn Taylor of Tilden received a continuance in a case where he faces one count of use of firearm to commit a felony, a Class I felony; and one count of terroristic threats, a Class IIIA felony.

Represented by defense counsel Nathan Stratton, Ashburn Taylor made the request to the Honorable James G. Kube. Antelope County Attorney Joe Smith did not object to the motion.

Kube set a pretrial conference for Oct. 29 and continued a jury trial to Dec. 9.
