Clearwater trustees approved the village's one- and six-year street improvement plan. Additionally, the village will apply for a Community Development Block Grant planning grant and public works grant to facilitate funding, if approved.
Milling along First Street, in Clearwater, will be added to the village's One- and Six-Year Street Improvement plan.
"You have that scheduled," John Zwingman, village engineer, told the board of trustees during a Sept. 8 hearing.
Nebraska Street improvements weren't added to the plan at this time, but will be if the village receives a Community Development Block Grant.
Trustee Cody Kester asked Zwingman if he had experience working with roller compacted concrete. Zwingman said some county roads have used it as test strips.
