Antelope County pink postcard meeting Sept. 18

Antelope County taxpayers may learn more about proposed property tax increases during a joint public hearing - commonly known as the pink postcard meeting - on Thursday, Sept. 25 6:01 p.m., at the Antelope County Courthouse in Neligh.

In addition to Antelope County officials, the City of Elgin and Elgin Public School representatives will be on hand. The only discussion points will be each political subdivision's intent to increase its property tax request by a percentage greater than the allowable growth percentage....
