Shredding event includes stop in Ewing

The North Central RC&D will have a paper shredding day for area communities on Monday, Sept. 29.

"This is an opportunity to safely dispose of confidential documents. There is no cost but a free-will donation will help with expenses," organizers said.

The Paper Shredder will be in the following communities:

• 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. – Valentine at the old Shopko lot at 525 E Highway 20;

• 10:45 to 11:15 a.m. – Bassett at the Rock County Community Center

• 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. – Stuart at the Stuart Recycling Center

• 12:30 to 1 p.m. – Atkinson at the Atkinson Community Center

• 1:45 to 2:15 p.m....
