Orchard resident injured in UTV-car accident

Krista Holliday, of Orchard, was injured in an Aug. 8 accident in rural Holt County.

The Holt County Sheriff's Office responded to a call and reported that at approximately 5:17 p.m., officers were notified of the accident that occurred at 50911 865th Road near Orchard.

A Ford Expedition, driven by Patrick Murphy, of O'Neill, was westbound on 865th Road. Holliday, driving a John Deere UTV, exited her driveway onto 865th Road. She did not see Murphy's vehicle as she entered the roadway.
