Summerland Board to consider tax authority increase, staffing changes

Summerland Board of Education members will review a series of action items when they meet Monday, August 18, at 5:30 p.m., in the school board meeting room.

Among the key items under consideration, the board will discuss and possibly approve a resolution to increase the district’s base growth percentage — a factor used to determine the property tax request authority — by up to seven percent.
