Commissioners discuss permitting process

During the Aug. 5 Antelope County Commissioners meeting, officials held a lengthy discussion concerning person(s) and organizations not getting proper permits when maintaining/crossing county roads. A prime example is “grading” of two and one-half miles of road in northern Antelope County without permission and/or permits by a person(s) in the last few weeks.

The sheriff’s department and county attorney will be contacted to look into the matter.
