Fireworks to light up the Ewing sky

Don your patriotic gear and head to Ewing, July 3, to kick off the holiday weekend. Food, family fun, and fireworks are on tap. Ewing Young Members Club and the Village of Ewing have planned an evening of family entertainment at Schmidt Park.

At 6 p.m., dry inflatables and kiddie train rides will open and operate until 9 p.m. Hot dogs, chips, watermelon and bottled water will be provided by the Village of Ewing during the same time frame.

At 7 p.m., turtle races will take place. Snapping turtles are not allowed. To register, text Chantelle Dempster at 402-340-6760.
