Braunersreuther named district president

At the 63rd District Convention of the Texas District, Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, the Rev. Dr. Jon Braunersreuther was elected as district president. He was installed on June 6 by the Rev. Matthew Harrison, synodical president.

The Texas district comprises 400 congregations, plus secondary and elementary schools.

Jon is the son of Alice Braunersreuther, formerly of Clearwater, and the late Rev. D.L. Braunersreuther. He is a 1981 graduate of Clearwater Public School....
