Former Oakdale village clerk reminded to repay restitution

Four individuals appeared May 28, in Antelope County District Court, for show cause hearings.

Megan L. Brandt, 41, of , appeared regarding unpaid restitution from a 2014 case involving theft by unlawful taking over $1,500, a Class III felony, from the Village of Oakdale.

The Honorable James Kube reported Brandt had only made two payments in 2025 toward restitution. The defendant, who appeared without counsel, objected and noted the believed three payments had been made. Kube advised Brandt $12,766 remains to be paid.
