Judge terminates drug court sentence after agreement violated

The Honorable Michael Long presided over several show cause and termination hearings during Antelope County District Court sessions on April 30, in Neligh.

Blake M. Couch, 19, of Inman, requested a hearing prior to termination from the Northeast Nebraska Adult Felony Drug Court. The Honorable Michel Long officiated.

Antelope County Attorney Joe Smith and defense counsel, Joel Carlson, provided evidence.

Long ruled that the Couch received proper notice of the hearing and had violated terms and conditions of the drug court’s participation agreement.
