Residents pitched a new use for city hall and voiced concerns about a new drive-through during the Ewing Village Board of Trustees meeting April 14.
Kathleen Jorgensen requested permission to use the city hall meeting room for games of Bingo and cards.
“I’m guessing twice a month, at the most,” she said.
Events would be cleared through the village clerk, and Jorgensen expects gatherings to begin in May.
Trustees also fielded concerns about a drive-through window installed at Double H Bakery on Nebraska Street. Residents asked how traffic will be managed through the adjacent alley.
