Summerland's girls track team ventured to Neligh, March 28, for the Neligh Relays.
The team ended the day in fifth place. Elkhorn Valley took top honors, followed by Neligh-Oakdale, Niobrara/Verdigre, Wausa, Summerland and Creighton.
High jump competitors included Lydia Robertson, 4' 11 in; Caydence Schumacher, 4' 8 in; and Belle Anson, 3' 11 in. Their combined jumps put them in third.
In shot put, Taylen Nilson threw 29' 8 inches and Ava Rittscher had a toss of 18' 8 inches. The group finished sixth.
