For Summerland Public Schools student Sophie Rittscher, Ashfall Fossil Beds State Historical Park, Neligh Mill, St. Peter's Episcopal Church and Starlite Drive-In come to mind.
Rittscher, a sophomore, sketched those memorable places on watercolor paper, bringing life and color to the page.
Now, Rittscher's painting is part of the Collaborative Nebraska Map Project at the Museum of Nebraska Art in Kearney.
