Bobcat musicians selected for all-state

Five Summerland School band members will represent the Bobcat band, Saturday, at the Class C All State Band, including Jennie Mejia-Moncado, Alvie Bearinger, Jack Heim, Lenora Kester and Raina Krebs.

Students will present a concert at the conclusion of the clinic.

Colonel Don Schofield will serve as clinician. Heis the commander and conductor of The United States Air Force Band. He is responsible for all activities of this 184-member squadron including equipping, training and deploying Airmen musicians to perform nearly 1,600 missions each year....
