Plea agreement reached in assault case involving Tilden man

A plea agreement was reached in the case of a 19-year-old Neligh man during the March 19 session of Antelope County Court.

Antelope County Attorney Joe Smith filed an amended complaint against Austin R. Klabenes. He was originally charged with domestic violence assault-3rd/threat/bodily injury, a Class I misdemeanor.

Per the agreement, Smith amended the charge to assault-threaten/menacing manner, a Class I misdemeanor, and agreed not to file additional charges in the case. Smith will be able to make recommendations at sentencing.
