Finalist • Brandon Pruden recites "Sargent Joe," a poetry program. Pruden placed sixth in poetry interpretation, March 10, at the GNAC Speech Meet.
Summerland speech team members competed in the first GNAC Speech Meet, March 10, at Laurel-Concord-Coleridge.
The Bobcat crew finished in a tie for sixth place with Elkhorn Valley. Both teams scored 42 points. Hartington-Newcastle won the event with 296 points.
In duet acting, Aubrey Parker and Talya Nilson ended in fith place. Brandon Pruden and Carlee Livingston placed sixth.
Pruden also earned a medal in oral intepretation of poetry. He received sixth place.
In program oral interpretation Raina Krebs placed sixth.
