Highway 20 traffic stop nets 252 pounds of marijuana

Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol have arrested one person after locating over 250 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop in northern Nebraska.

On Friday, March 7, at approximately 7:20 p.m., a trooper performed a traffic stop along Highway 20 on a Chevrolet Silverado with a driver known to have a suspended license.

The traffic stop occurred near the intersection of Highway 20 and Highway 81. During the traffic stop, the trooper saw marijuana in plain view in the pickup.
