Bobcats finish 10th at Central Valley

The Summerland boys wrestling team finished 10th with 62 points at the Central Valley Invitational on Jan. 31. Aquinas Catholic won the 21-team meet with 168 points.

Ethan Kester led the Bobcats with a runner-up finish at 150 pounds, scoring 24 team points. After receiving a bye in the first round, Kester pinned Traven Reznicek of Shelby-Rising City in 1:06 and followed with a 1:25 fall over Luke Shoemaker of Central Valley in the quarterfinals.
