The Summerland boys' basketball team continued its strong season with a 35-26 victory over Elkhorn Valley on Jan. 28 in Tilden.
The Bobcats took control early, scoring nine points in the first quarter while holding Elkhorn Valley to just seven. The second quarter was a more balanced affair, with Summerland managing six points to the Falcons' 11, narrowing the Bobcats' lead to just a single point at halftime, 15-14.
However, Summerland regained its momentum in the third quarter, outscoring Elkhorn Valley 13-6.
