Bobcat power • Summerland's girls' wrestling team finished second in the Greater Nebraska Activities Conference wresting meet, held in Neligh. The Summerland girls wrestling team earned runner-up honors at the inaugural Greater Nebraska Activities Conference wrestling meet, held Jan. 23 at Neligh-Oakdale.
Coach Dan Roeber praised the team's effort, saying, "It was exciting to see our girls come away with the runner-up honors in the inaugural GNAC conference meet."
Summerland saw several standout performances, including four individual champions.
Jaelyn Shaver (25-7) dominated the 190 class, scoring 23 team points. She pinned Addyson Jacob of Neligh-Oakdale in just 59 seconds, followed by a 47-second fall over Plainview's Callie Taylo...
