North Platte man sentenced for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine

United States Attorney Susan Lehr announced that Joey G, Romero, age 37, of North Platte, was sentenced on Dec. 12, 2024, in federal court in Lincoln, Nebraska for one count of conspiracy to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. United States District Judge Susan M. Bazis sentenced Romero to a total of 120 months’ imprisonment. There is no parole in the federal system. After Romero’s release from prison, he will begin a 5-year term of supervised release.
