Around the horn • AJ Hobbs rounds the corner, heading toward second base, during Friday's Titans junior contest against O'Neill. Hobbs progressed to third base on the hit, in a game played at Orchard.

The Tri-County Titans seniors were back in action Friday, May 24, at Orchard against O'Neill, where the home team lost a heartbreaker, 2-5, in extra innings.

Jake Schroeder took to the mound and threw five scoreless innings, striking out 10 batters before maxing out his pitch count. The Titan Seniors then turned to Isaac Hoferer (3Ks) and Landon McAllister (1K) to take the mound.

The Titans got on the board early, scoring two runs in the bottom of the first by Connor Thomson and Wyatt Shabram on RBIs, courtesy of Ryan Rifer and Schroeder.
