Consistency • With the American flag and Missouri River as a backdrop, Dylan Rotherham chips on the green, Monday, at the Crofton Invite. Coach Tom Thramer said, "Dylan Rotherham has been our most consistent golfer and continues to improve his game each week."

In a week's span, the Bobcat golf team has competed three times. While two team members have landed in medal contention, coach Tom Thramer said his squad "has been really inconsistent the last couple meets, playing courses that they are not used to."

"I really think we have the capabilities to score really well, we just haven't shown it yet," he said.

On April 10, the Bobcats hosted the Summerland Invite. Dylan Rotherham shot 86, finishing 13th. Dane Miller carded an 85, placing 11th.

Will Jesse of Chambers Wheeler Central shot 73, one over par, to win the event.

In team standings, the Bobcats ended in fifth place, shooting 365.

On Saturday, the team traveled to Plainnview Country Club, where the Bobcats finished sixth of 16 teams.

Rotherham and Miller brought home the 17th- and 18th-place medals, respectively, shooting 92. Kelton Bruhn carded a 94 and Sam Cheatum shot 97.

On Monday, the team competed in the Crofton Invite, where they ended sixth of 13 teams.

Rotherham finished with a 93; Miller, 98; Cheatum, 103 and Bruhn, 107.

"Crofton was a very tough course with really windy conditions as all teams struggled that day. We will get back to the grind this week in practice and be right back at it Saturday at the Osmond Invite," Thramer said.
