Koenig, Rotherham set the pace for Bobcat golfers

The Bobcat golf team teed off for the first time this season, April 4, at a quad held at the Antelope Country Club in Neligh.

Ayden Bazelman sends a shot toward the ninth-hole green, last Thursday, during a quadrangular held at the Antelope Country Club. Bazelman, competing on the Bobcat junior varsity squad, shot 68.

Coach Tom Thramer said the first meet went well. "With the weather the past couple of weeks, we haven't been able to get out and practice much and it showed some yesterday. I look for our guys to keep improving each and every meet."

Michael Koenig and Dylan Rotherham set the pace, shooting 48. Dane Miller carded a 51, while Sam Cheatum and Christian Behnk shot 53 and 54, respectively.

In junior varsity play, Jacob Pierzina finished with 61; Ayden Bazelman, 64; Stearns, 66 and Ayden Hartigan, 73.
