Six Summerland students win academic medals

Seventeen Summerland Public School students participated in the Northeast Community College Scholastic Contest, on March 27.

Six students placed in seven events.

Raina Krebs took first in accounting.

Carter Bergman brought home two medals. He placed second in anatomy and physiology and third in personal finance.

Aislynn Kester placed second in medical terminology.

In parenting and child development, Emma King finished second.

Sarah Wiese placed second in child development.

In biology, Shaylie Kester finished third.

Overall, Summerland finished seventh in their division.
