VILLAGE OF Ewing BOARD OF TRUSTEES

March 11, 2024

The Ewing Village Board of Trustees convened in regular session on March 11, 2024, at 7 p.m., at the city hall. Notice of the meeting was published March 6, 2024, in the “Summerland Advocate-Messenger.” An agenda was kept current and on file at the village clerk’s office.

Chairman, James Ramold, called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Notice was given to the posted location of the open meetings law.

Board members present were Dustin Jorgensen, Kane Fry and James Ramold. Also present were Carla Kimball, of CNEDD; LuAnn Schindler from Summerland Advocate; Travis Funk; John Shaver; and Sharon Swails.


Items approved:

Minutes of the Feb. 12, 2024, regular meeting;

February bills as presented:

Drawdown # 5 in amount of $71,688.55, to help cover the Thramer Construction invoice in amount of $90,745.00;

Luke Schilousky’s bid of $6,000.00 for the two-sprinkler systems at the duplex;

Delon Kathol’s bid in amount of $8,038.00 for sodding the entire lot;

Building permit for Love Signs to replace the signage for White Star;

GPS mapping agreement with Miller & Associates for the mapping of the water and sewer mains and valves;

C\hange the lock at the dump and not give keys out.

Meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m. Complete set of minutes on file at the village office.
