Contracts, calendar top school board agenda

Administrative contracts for Summerland principals Cathy Cooper and Zach Rosenboom will be acted on during the board of education’s March 12 meeting.
The items were tabled in February, at the suggestion of board member Nate Schwager, since the Negotiations Committee had recently met to discuss contract details.
Another item up for consideration will be approval of the calendar for the 2024-2025 school year. Superintendent Kyle Finke presented board members with a preliminary calendar in February.
The lone item of new business is approval of a teacher contract.
A complete agenda appears on Page 8. The tentative agenda is subject to change, up to 24 hours before the scheduled time of the meeting.
