Page community braces for increased garbage collection rates

Like other communities in the Summerland region, garbage rates for the Village of Page increased, effective Feb. 1.

Trustees approved the new rates, for service with J & J Sanitation, of O’Neill, during its Feb. 12 meeting.

Regular residential rates will run $23 per month. A senior citizen rate of $19 will also be in effect.

Each additional trash can will cost $8.

Business rates will begin at $95 for a 1.5 yard dumpster. A two-yard dumpster will cost $125. A two-yard dumpster, emptied monthly, will run $115.
