Ternus rehired as county deputy

After an approximate four-year absence from the Antelope County Sheriff's Department, Darin Ternus will return.
Antelope County Commissioners approved rehiring Ternus as a deputy when they met Feb. 6 in Neligh.
Ternus served as deputy from 2000 to 2019, before he joined the Neligh Police Department.
"I'm sure he left in good standing," Commissioner Neil Williby said.
Commissioners unanimously approved the motion. Commissioner Keith Heithoff was absent.
