AJ Hobbs, Jesse Thiele and Mathew Umphress added wins to their records during a Jan 23 dual against North Central that was part of a triangular also featuring Elgin Public/Pope John.

Wrestling in the 165-pound class, Umphress pinned Kade Wiiest in 2:38.

Hobbs pinned Chase Gewecke in 2:37 in a 175-pound match.

Thiele made quick work of his match, pinning Trace Kaupp in :50. They competed at 144 pounds.

Jason Shaver, 190; Austin Mendoza, 132; and Ethan Kester, 138, won by forfeit.

North Central earned wins by forfeit at 215,285,106, and 126.

Chase Kaczor squeezed past Logan Kester, 8-6, in a 150-pound match.

Branson Anderson pinned Shayne Jenkins, in 1:02, in the 157-pound match.

Ayden Bazelman fell to Wyatt Fowler, in 2:00. They competed in the 113-pound class.

Gage Herrington pinned Tucker Dougherty in 1:07 in a match in the 120-pound division.

North Central defeated the Bobcats, 45-36.

In the second dual, North Central scored 66 points to down the Wolfpack, 66-12.

Summerland took control of the third dual, downing EPPJ, 48-18.

Umphress, 165; Hobbs, 175; Bazelman, 113; Dougherty, 120; Mendoza, 132; Kester, 138; and Jenkins, 157, won by forfeit.

Justice Blecher defeated Summerland's Jason Shaver, 7-6.

Jesse Thiele pinned Jack Barlow in :56, picking up his 100th career win.

Logan Kester dropped a 5-3 decision to Isaac Hemenway.
