Quilt of Valor presentation

Eileen Krumbach, of the Stars, Stripes and Stitches QoV group, based in Shelby, presents Duard Dempster with a Quilt of Valor on July 16, 2023, during Dempster's 90th birthday celebration at the Methodist Church fellowship hall in Orchard. Dempster was born July 17, 1933, and drafted by the Army onNov. 1, 1953. Basic training was held at Fort Riley, Kansas, followed by leadership training school at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
