ORDINANCE NO. 2023-10

VILLAGE OF CLEARWATER

AN ORDINANCE OF THE Village of Clearwater, Antelope County, NEBRASKA, SETTING WAGES AND SALARIES FOR OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE VILLAGE FOR THE YEAR COMMENCING JAN. 1, 2024, AND CONTINUING TO AND THROUGH DEC. 31, 2024; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE PUBLICATION OF THIS ORDINANCE IN PAMPHLET FORM.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CHAIRMAN AND VILLAGE BOARD OF THE Village of Clearwater, NEBRASKA:

SECTION 1. That there be and hereby are established wages and salaries for the officials and employees of the Village for the year 2024, as follows:

Chairman/Trustees

$900.00 per year

Village Clerk/Treasurer

$25.00 per hour

Librarian $14.50 per hour

Library Helpers $12.00 per hour

Maintenance Operator

$25.00 per hour

Part-Time/Summer Employees

$12.00 per hour

Returning Summer Employees $15.00 per hour

Cleaning Person $20.00 per hour

SECTION 2. That there be and hereby is established a $50 per month stipend for the maintenance operator and village clerk for personal cell phone usage.

SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict are hereby repealed.

SECTION 4. That three-fourths of the Board of Trustees voted to suspend the requirement that this ordinance be read by title on three different days.

SECTION 5. That this ordinance shall be effective from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.

SECTION 6. That this ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form and available for public inspection during normal village office business hours.
