The regular monthly meeting of the Village Board of Page was held Monday, Nov. 13, 2023, at the village office. This meeting was conducted in compliance with the Nebraska Open Meetings Act and the Open Meeting Laws are posted at the village office.

Chair Linquist called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Trustees VanEvery, Tyrrell, Campbell and Leichleiter present. Also present: Cora Calkins. Absent: None.

Motion by Tyrrell, seconded by Leichleiter to approve minutes of the Oct. 16, 2023, regular meeting as presented. Passed: all ayes.

Motion by Tyrrell, seconded by Campbell to pay claims presented. Passed: Linquist, Tyrrell and Campbell – aye; Leichleiter and VanEvery abstained.

General Fund: Bomgaars, 17.45, general sup; ColdType Publishing, 58.00, pub fees; Emme Construction, 1,125.00, street rep; Great Plains Communication, 135.77, tele/internet; Helzer, Wendy, 80.00, park cleaning; Heartland Fire, 180.05, fire extinguisher cert; Hwy Allocation Savings, 766.00, Nov. match; Intuit, 153.00, QB sub; League of Municipalities, 250.00, annual dues; McNally Law, 150.00, prof fees; NCPPD, 637.23, elec; VanEvery, Dennis, 48.04, pothole patch/reimb; Visa, 117.61, office sup; IRS Payroll taxes, 477.18; Payroll taxes, 477.18; Wages, 1,915.54.

Actions taken:

Water project checking account. Motion by Campbell, second by VanEvery to close the Water project checking account and move remaining funds back to the Utility Fund checking account. Motion passed - all ayes.

J & J Sanitation rate increase tabled pending bids.

Motion by Tyrrell, seconded by Leichleiter, to adjourn. Passed: all ayes. Meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
