BUDGET MEETING

VILLAGE OF Ewing BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Ewing Village Board of Trustees convened for the budget meeting, Sept. 11, 2023, at 7:03 p.m., at city hall, which was advertised in the “Summerland Advocate-Messenger” and posted at three locations in the village.

Notice was given to the posed location of the open meetings law.

Board members present were Dustin Jorgensen, Kane Fry, Katie Cunningham and Dustin Wright. James Ramold was absent. Also present were Alan Potter and Sharon Swails.

Motion by Jorgensen, seconded by Fry, to approve the 2023-2024 budget as presented. Voting aye, 4 ; nay, 0; abstain, 0; absent, 1.

Motion by Fry, seconded by Jorgensen, to approve Resolution #425 for setting the property tax request. Voting aye, 4; nay, 0; abstain, 0; absent, 1.

Motion by Cunningham, seconded by Wright, to approve the increase of tax restricted funds by an additional 1%. Voting aye, 4; nay, 0; abstain, 0; absent, 1.

As there was no further business, a motion by Cunningham, seconded by Jorgensen, to close the budget meeting. Voting aye, 4; nay, 0; abstain, 0; absent, 1.

Budget meeting closed at 7:04 p.m.
