Who's ready for barbecue?

Orchard will be the hot spot, with taste-tempting ribs hot off the grill, Sept. 30.

Events are planned throughout the day, with something offered for all ages.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., check out the vendor fair in the community center.

The virtual reality game truck will be on location with events for ages five and older. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., educational VR will be available. Video games will be offered between 2 and 5 p.m.

Preregistration is suggested in order to secure a place in line. There is no cost to participate.

Don't want to miss out on Husker football as they take on the Michigan Wolverines? Watch the game on the outdoor big screen or inside during the vendor fair.

Ribs will be served, beginning at 5:30 p.m., at the Orchard Community Center. A beer garden will be available.

End the evening with live entertainment, provided by Kenny K and The Dead Cowboys. Music begins at 9 p.m. and continues until 1 a.m.
