Diane K. Sisson 1943 - 2023

Memorial visitation for Dianne K. Sisson, 80, of Clearwater, will be Saturday, July 29, from 3 to 5 p.m., at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater. Burial will be in Clearwater Cemetery at a later date.

Snider Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Dianne Kay Sisson was born on May 8, 1943, to Ralph and Belva (Lautenschlager) Shrader in Douglas County. She attended Orchard High School and graduated with the class of 1961. She attended beauty school in Norfolk and graduated in July 1962.

On May 2, 1964, she was united in marriage to Gerald "Jerry" Sisson in Ewing. She worked as a postmaster at Royal and waitressing at the L-B Steakhouse, where she enjoyed meeting and talking with the people.

She also enjoyed doing word-find books and spending time with her family and, especially, her grandkids and-great grandkids. Dianne was a member of Ewing Methodist-Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her children, Ronda (Dan) Schwager of Clearwater; Renee (Randy) Knutzen of York; Bill Sisson of Clearwater; and Jerry Joe Sisson of Clearwater; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gordon (Ralynn) Shrader of Orchard.

Diane is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter, Barbra Sisson-Hill.
