Library seeks individuals to form new friends group

SUBMITTED ARTICLE

Interested in supporting the library but not sure how to become involved? Consider becoming a Friend of the Library.

Friend of the Library groups are made up of community-minded individuals who have a special interest in supporting and encouraging the community library.

The friends group creates public interest in the local library, actively volunteer, assisting with fundraising, or sponsor events and promote use of the library.

Like to bake cookies? Creative at organizing small events? Willing to help set up tables and chairs for a fundraiser? Have a hobby to share? Volunteer to bring an elderly person to the library once a month?

Being a Friend of the Library means being willing to use your talents and abilities to help the library when it is needed and when you are able.

Individuals willing to become a Friend of the Library may visit the Clearwater Public Library website, https://clearwaterpubliclibrary.org/ and sign up today by tapping the "Get Involved" tab or contact Kathy Feusse, library director, at 308-202-1289.
