Clearwater Chamber plans branding event

The irons will be hot, Wednesday, July 19, but there won't be a herd of cattle waiting to be branded.
Instead, rodeo enthusiasts and Clearwater Chamber of Commerce members are invited to bring a branding iron and leave a mark on the support beams in front of the new building at the Clearwater rodeo grounds, located along West Highway 275.
The event is a prelude to Saturday's rough stock challenge, slated to start with a calcutta at 7 p.m.
Branding will begin at 7 p.m. Cost will be $100 per brand, which includes a steak dinner following the branding.
