Accident scene • A Friday morning collision at the intersection of Highway 14 and US Highway 275 led to a second collision at the spot.
A two-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Highway 14 and U.S. 275, Friday, in Neligh.
At approximately 11:08 a.m., Neligh Police Department, Antelope County Sheriff's Office, Neligh Fire and Neligh Rescue were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection.
Following a preliminary investigation, officials determined a Ford Fusion, driven by Gretchen Bartelson, of Sibley, Iowa, was southbound on Highway 14. Bartelson stopped at the intersection of Highway 275 and proceeded across the road, where she was struck by an eastbound Buick LaCrosse, driven by Shelby Heilbrun,...
