United States Attorney Steven Russell recently released information on a United States District Court case regarding a methamphetamine conspiracy in the area.

In May 2020, the Holt County Sheriff's Office, Nebraska State Patrol and the United States Postal Inspection Service began investigating Lindsey A. Rokahr and Dallas S. Rhinehart, 53, for their involvement in the distribution of meth in the Norfolk area.
