St. Paul woman dies following Highway 14 collision

Fatality • Firefighters from Brunswick, Neligh, Orchard and Royal fire departments spray water on a semi/tanker trailer following a crash, April 5. A Nebraska woman died from injuries sustained in the accident.

A St. Paul woman died Wednesday, April 5, following a crash in northern Antelope County.

At approximately 2:50 p.m., a Ford Edge was southbound on Nebraska Highway 14 when the driver failed to stop at the intersection with U.S. Highway 20. The Ford then struck a semi/tanker trailer

Antionette Kowalski, 53, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the semi was not injured, according to Cody Thomas, spokesperson for the Nebraska State Patrol.

Firefighters from Brunswick, Orchard, Royal and Neligh responded to the scene.
